What we take care of.

Pick what you need — one service or the whole back office. The engagement letter scopes exactly what you chose, and you can add or drop services any time.

Monthly bookkeeping & close

Your transactions categorized, every account reconciled, and clean financials delivered each month — on time, without you chasing anyone.

Tax preparation & planning

Business returns prepared and filed, quarterly estimates handled, and planning conversations before year-end — not after it’s too late.

Catch-up & cleanup

Months — or years — behind? We rebuild the books, get you current, and keep you there. It’s most of how new clients arrive.

Invoicing & bill pay

Invoices sent and followed up, bills staged and paid on schedule, aging watched. Cash in and out, handled.

Payroll & 1099s

Payroll booked and tied out, contractors tracked all year, W-9s collected, 1099s filed before January panic sets in.

Reporting & advisory

Plain-English financials, cash forecasts, and an accountant who’ll actually sit down and walk through them with you.

Becoming a client takes ten minutes.

1

Tell us about your business.

A short intake: what the business is, where the books live, what you need, and how far behind things are. No meetings required — though we’re happy to talk first.

2

Get your quote. Then sign.

You get a flat monthly price in writing and a plain-English engagement letter. Nothing starts and nothing is owed until you’ve signed with the numbers in front of you.

3

We take over from there.

We connect to your systems, get the books current, and settle into a rhythm: the close lands every month, taxes are planned before they’re due, and your questions get answered by a person who knows your business.

In their words.

I emailed on a Tuesday night about a weird payroll entry and had an answer — with the fix already made — before lunch on Wednesday.
Founder, DTC brand
We were eight months behind and dreading tax season. They rebuilt the books, got the return filed, and now the month just… closes.
Owner, creative agency
It’s the first accountant relationship where I always know where things stand. The financials show up; the estimates get paid; nobody chases anybody.

What does Jayi actually do?

We’re a full-service accounting firm for small businesses: monthly bookkeeping and close, tax preparation and planning, invoicing and bill pay, payroll support and 1099s, and reporting. You pick the services in intake; the engagement letter scopes exactly that, and you can change it any time in writing.

Do you prepare tax returns?

Yes. We prepare and file business returns, handle quarterly estimates, and do year-end planning — by the same team that keeps your books, so nothing gets lost between your bookkeeper and your tax preparer.

Are you CPAs?

Our team includes a licensed CPA. Jayi itself is an accounting firm — not a licensed CPA firm — so we don’t perform audits, reviews, or other attestation work. For everything else a small business needs, we’re built for it.

What does it cost?

A flat monthly fee, quoted in writing after intake — it depends on your volume, systems, and the services you pick. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices, and nothing is owed until you sign the engagement letter with the quote in hand.

My books are months behind. Can you fix them?

Yes — catch-up and cleanup is how most new clients arrive. Tell us how far behind you are in intake, and the quote will cover getting current, not just staying current.

What happens after I sign?

An accountant reviews and countersigns your engagement, usually within one business day. Then we connect your systems, agree the starting point, and take over — your first monthly close typically lands within the first full month.

Can I leave?

Any time, with 30 days’ notice. Your books live in your systems and your formats, and we hand over cleanly — your books were always yours.

Ready when you are.

We’re taking on new clients now. Ten minutes of intake, a flat quote in writing, an engagement letter you can actually read — and then the books stop being your problem.
